(Video)- Tim McCarver’s Barry Manilow Reference
Last night Barry Zito was on fire for the first game of the World Series. He was so enfuego that the Giant fans started chanting “Barry”. And what happened next was pure TV gold. If you can’t watch the video at work, I’ll transcribe the conversation below for you.
“They used to say it for somebody else around here,” Buck said.
To which McCarver replied: “When Barry Manilow was playing in a concert.”
“Or Barry Bonds,” Buck teased.
Later in the inning, Buck said to McCarver: “Come back to me over there.”
“Sorry, it’s one of those moments,” McCarver laughed.

Reds Announcer Chris Welsh is Responsible for This Awkward Exchange
Fox Sports Ohio reporter Jim Day wants to strangle the hell out of Chris Welsh right about now. As Day was interviewing Brandon Phillips of the Reds, Day made a statement saying that Phillips “looked good” which Phillips playfully responded saying Day had a man-crush on Phillips.
After the interview was over, Chris Welsh wouldn’t let the joke die and started asking questions which made it seem that Day was gay. And that is when it got very uncomfortable. See for yourself.

Vernon Wells Goes Head First Into The Bleachers
The best part of this is that Wells didn’t even have a chance at robbing the homerun. Maybe he just wanted to land head first into a ladies lap or maybe he just wanted some nachos but one thing is for sure, this is the best bad non-catch ever.

Orioles Manny Machado Pulls off The Old Fake Throw To First
I thought this shit only worked on the playgrounds but you have to give it to Machado for having the mindset and the balls for taking such a risk.
