If DJ Premier endorses this 18-year old kid then there is no way I couldn’t do the same. The beat is doper than your crack head uncle and the flow is nastier than your ex-girlfriends yeast infection. Keep this kid on your radar!
DJ Premier, Nas and Scarface – Hip Hop
“And if I cry two tears for her
That would be the most that I can give to her”
It’s songs like this that restore my faith back into hip hop music. Funny enough it comes from a song called “Hip Hop”.
Take a listen and swim in the substance of the lyrics.

Ciara featuring Ludacris – Ride
Ciara should be in charge of teaching this to all women. Forget that Zumba crap that is the new flavor of the month. Get on the Ciara dance tip, ladies.
Just be cautious of the new talent, you want to work it, not break it.

Depeche Mode – Personal Jesus (Live in Barcelona)
The start of the song just sends chills through my spine and gives me goosebumps. Without a doubt one of the greatest frontman to ever grace a stage.

Calvin Harris – Bounce (Music Video of The Day)
It took me literally a year to find out what song this was. One of the first times I heard this was when Ronda Rousey won after a Strikeforce event and ever since then its been haunting me. The other reason I found this song out was because one of the passengers on our flight back from Las Vegas was playing this song to one of his buddies. Thank god he did and I guess its a bit apropos that I found out the song name on the way back from Vegas- the scene of the music video.
Now Bounce!

Ralek Gracie is a Great Grappler but a Horrible Rapper
This song just screams hubris and it annoys me to no end. Even as a person who trains at a Gracie Barra school, I can’t stand the fact that Gracie’s get all the credit for jiu jitsu. People need to realize that the Gracie’s were great fuckin marketers when it came to their business of bjj. They were ballsy enough to challenge anyone who wanted to test their art and they were very successful at it but to give them credit for creating a art that was around when Samurais were slicing and dicing at each other is completely ignorant. People also need to give it up to the official trail blazer that was kind enough to sail to Brazil to teach the Gracies.
Just look at how embarrassed his own friend is to be walking with a guy in his gi. Look, I love my Gi, its hotter than shit, but I’ve really grown to love it but I would never walk around in my gi like I was about to smash someones guard. The people in the back are even tilting their heads sideways like “Whaaa!”.
This needs to be changed to Geek in a Gi.
P.S Please don’t choke me out.
P.S.S I’m also still pissed about Ralek beating my personal mma Jesus, SAAAAAKUUURABA! AKA The Gracie Hunter.
