Yesterday the 38-year old wide receiver debuted for the Allen Wranglers and caught three catches all for touchdowns. Just in case you think you’re speakers aren’t working, there is no sound to the video so don’t freak out. IFLs have to cut the sound out of the highlights for budget reasons. Ok, I’m lying about that but there is no sound to the video.
Arizona Teen Keith Rutledge is a Two Sport Athlete with One Arm
This kid makes everything I’ve done in life look second rate. The kid is so badass he refused the prosthetic at a young age and decided he would tackle life with only one wing. That wing has flown him higher than most people with two good wings. Watch the video, read the story. Its worth your time.
Because unlike every one of his teammates, Rutledge as learned to play both with only one arm — a truly incredible accomplishment that speaks volumes about his work ethic and positive attitude.
Born without a left arm, Rutledge tried a prosthetic when he was younger but decided against making it a part of everyday life after it bothered him too much. Instead of looking for another option, the high school junior decided to learn how to play sports with only one arm.
“When I first decided that I wanted to play football, my parents did not think I could do it. This motivated me more,” Rutledge told the Tempe High School Sports Examiner. “I like to encourage others that when people doubt your ability in trying to accomplish something, don’t become angry, utilize your anger as motivation and act upon it. I don’t care if you have a mental illness, one leg, or any type of disability, show them that you will fight for what you want.”
Rutledge has certainly shown an incredible fight on the field, making some of the most difficult plays look incredible easy this season. Earlier in the year, he made an incredible one-handed catch for 35 yards with defenders in tow.
He’s also learned how to catch a baseball in his right hand, get rid of the glove, and then throw the ball in one fluid motion. When he first showed up on the field for tryouts, junior varsity coach Trent Bender took one look at Rutledge and figured there was no way he was making the team.

HS Player Costs His Team The State Championship For Thanking The Lord
I guess this is one post game interview where the players won’t be thanking the lord after the game. I blame Tebow for hogging the lord on this play. Lord must be tired of helping Tebow comeback every week. His back is probably sore from carrying Tebow this far…
The called back touchdown cost Cathedral the lead — had Owens reached the end zone without incident, Cathedral would have gained an 18-16 lead with roughly six minutes remaining in the game. A play later, the quarterback essentially cost his team the game, throwing an interception to Blue Hills cornerback Keith Gomes that paved the way for Blue Hills to run out the rest of the clock and seal a 16-12 victory.
“He handed the ball to the referee. He didn’t spike it. He goes to a Catholic school where they are taught that their God is in the sky. So I know when he raised his hand, he was thanking his Lord for what happened to him today. Football is a team sport. There’s lot of kids that are hurting today.”

Dog vs Boy in a 1 on 1 Football Game
That dog would totally rip it up in the CFL and he could probably play iron dog with the type of endurance he has. The kid on the other hand needs to stick to the books cause I don’t see an athletic bone in him.

Trent Glaze Lives Out His Dream of Scoring a TouchDown
Trent Glaze always gives 110 percent.
The Ohio high school student, who has muscular dystrophy and uses a wheelchair, always dreamed of playing football. But physical limitations made it impossible, ABC reported.
That didn’t stop him from joining the Fairfield Union High School football team, according to his interview with ABC.
After the clock ran out on Friday’s game against Teay’s Valley High, Glaze had one of his biggest wishes come true, according to the Lancaster Eagle Gazette. Both teams took the field for one last play, and the senior wheeled himself into the end zone for a touchdown.
“I still get butterflies thinking about it,” he told local station 10TV.
Glaze was also named a team captain this year, and even took the school’s homecoming king crown, according to the local station. But nothing seems to top this experience.
“It was his opportunity to shine,” Fairfield Union coach Tom McCurdy told 10TV. “He’s my right-hand man. He’s always telling me what we need to do [and] what needs to improve.”
According to the Gazette, McCurdy says Glaze one day hopes to become a coach himself, and he could see it happening. “His goal is he wants to coach. He listens hard to what we try to teach, and he gets after the guys,” the coach said.

Haka Dancers Get Maced By Utah Cop
According to the Associated Press, Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune, among other sources, a group of relatives of a player for the Roosevelt (Utah) Union High football team was attacked with pepper spray by police officers in Roosevelt, Utah while performing the dance shortly after Uintah’s 17-14 victory. The group performing the Haka reportedly blocked the exit from the field, and while their dance was destined to be a quick one — as practically all Hakas performed by sports teams are — police insisted that they move from the area to allow players and others to leave the field.
When they began dancing instead, Roosevelt police began using pepper spray to displace the crowd.
“I’ve never seen anything like it,” Union fan Jason Kelly told the Deseret News. “It was totally unprovoked.”

This Offensive Coordinator Takes His Lingerie Football Seriously
The Minnesota Valkyrie Offensive Coordinator Tony Nguyen had enough at looking at ass and boobs fly everywhere so I guess he finally got a chance to see one play. Does he not realize that these girls are just sexy beasts portraying football players? They are not real football players, just look at the uniforms they have on, they are strippers throwing a ball up and down the field.
I still don’t understand how someone can get so mad when they’re in a locker room surrounded by cleavage and ass hanging out. Does he not notice this?
